Over the weekend I spent the day lost in a field of bluebonnets, one of the most seculded patches in the area. My latest pictutes located on the homepage, and portfolio page turned out well, although I've learned I need a little more practice with small children in family portraits.
I introduced a beautiful doggy into my pictures, he did so good, and these also came out really well. I can't express enough how nuch I enjoy photography! We all have our passion, this is mine :)

I took our Abby girl, the absolute best dog in the entire world, to take pictures in the bluebonnets today! Mostly, this was for my benefit so I could build my portfolio, but she really enjoyed it! The place we went was just breath takening, country field, the wind blowing, smell of flowers in the air- I could have sat there all day... I love how there is something about bluebonnets that make people filled with joy and sunshine, make me filled with joy and sunshine :)
I'm looking forward to my other bookings with bluebonnet scenery! I own approximately 200 mason jars ranging from mini to quart in size. I used these jars for my own wedding as centerpieces with salt and candles inside. Currently, I have no lids for this jars, but all are in terrific shape and ready to use.
$50 to rent, and $50 refundable deposit. Jars must be returned within three days of reservation date. Pickup/Delivery is available at an additional charge. Last night my husband informed me google search engine is finally picking up my website! This is very exciting news considering it takes many many hours to establish a website with enough detail for google to index. Also, this would not have been possible without my friends, and family visiting my website and making it know! Thank
I am very excited to announce my business cards have arrived! I can't wait to distribute them to each and every one of you! Thank you so much for the continued support, and remember the best form of advertisement is referrals and word of mouth!
Today was the perfect day for taking pictures! Overcast outside provides nothing but the best umbrella that produces a powder finish in photography, incredible. Not to mention the temperature was just perfect, a little wind, a little sunshine. We had such a good time. Thank you to my newest couple for being such good sports!
The Waxahachie Train Depot was my backdrop and story for today. I used the beautifully architectured buildings, and old feed store to capture true country elegance amongst concerte buildings, and zooming cars. I was even fortunate enough to capture a train as it passed through town on its way to somewhere down in Texas... While the train whistle blaired, and the ground shook slightly my couple stood, with hair flowing perfectly in the wind, so in love, so happy. They easily turned out gorgeous posses for me on the railroad tracks, which was my very first time with this scenery. Much like trains often do, this couple left footprints on the tracks in their own journey toward life., Welcome to Jessica Barlow Custom Photography!
